History
GT Motors is a family run and owned business that has operated since 1966. Back then, John Toaldo had a vision and left Italy heading for Australia and the opportunity to create a better life. He brought with him a wealth of automotive knowledge and skill. His ongoing success is a true testament to his hard work and good ethics which have also been ingrained in his son Frank who took over the running of the business in 2008. Learning ‘old school’ ways, Franks’s varied skill set and attention to detail are hard to find these days and are a true reflection of his 30 years with GT Motors.
With a small team of dedicated professionals and a combination of 160 years of experience, the business has positioned itself as one of Brisbane’s preeminent prestige, classic and modern restoration specialists. A quick peek in the workshop on any day is likely to yield cars ranging from 1960’s Jaguars to 1970’s Lamborghini’s to 1990’s Ferraris through to 2000’s Porsche’s, BMW’s or Range Rovers.
